ADDAMS AND UPTON ART DEPARTMENT
What is Art Class like?
Class time is divided into 3 parts:
Art Learning Time-
We learn about artwork, artists and cultures.
We do this through books, looking, talking, and discussion.
Art Making Time-
Artists get to apply what they have learned to a piece of their own work.
Artists are always free to take incomplete work home to extend their art making time.
Clean-up/Reflection Time-
This is time when all students do their part to get the room ready for the next class
and review and reflect on what was learned in art class that day.

Thank you to the addams pta
A warm and sincere thank you to the Addams PTA for donating a sink and kiln to the Addams Art Program. On the first day of school, I started the day by sharing the good news with students. The smiles on their faces were priceless and the excitement for a clay program was igniting an even higher enthusiasm for the program. Thank you for supporting the art program here at Addams. It's going to be a great year!
