CALLING ALL STUDENT ARTISTS!!!

The Addams Art Department is calling all student artists to join the Addams community in decorating pumpkins! Pumpkins should measure no more than 12 inches in diameter. Please encourage your child to brainstorm pumpkin designs, explore different ideas and techniques for pumpkin decorations such as paints, markers, collage, etc. All names should be written on the bottom of the pumpkin with permanent marker. I ask that pumpkins are decorated and not carved. This will allow winning pumpkins to be displayed in the media center throughout the first week of November.  All winning pumpkins MUST be picked up after school on Friday, November 8th.

On October 31th, the Halloween parade will end with the display of the winning pumpkins adorned with ribbons. Below are times and dates for pumpkin drop off and pick-up.

Pumpkin Drop Off
Thursday, October 31st
8:00 - 8:20 am
Please leave the pumpkins on the table corresponding with your child's teacher and grade level.

Pumpkin Pick-Up

Students will pick up pumpkins from the gym.

ALL WINNING PUMPKINS WILL BE DISPLAYED OUTSIDE OF THE MEDIA CENTER FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER. WINNING PUMPKINS WILL NEED TO BE PICKED UP ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH.
